Accessibility statement

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We believe it is fully compliant, and treat any failure you find as a fault to fix, not feedback to file.

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a clear focus indicator
• Text and background colours meet AA contrast standards
• Content is written in plain English and structured with headings
• The site works with screen readers and up to 400% text magnification
• Every button and link is at least 24 by 24 pixels
• Nothing on the site moves or changes unless you ask it to

• The "Book an appointment" and phone links on this sample site connect to pages and numbers within the demo rather than a live booking system — a real deployment would connect to your practice's own booking software, which carries its own accessibility statement.
• There is no British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted video version of this website's content.

This statement was prepared on 4 August 2026. The site is checked with automated testing (axe-core) across every page on every build, and manually with keyboard-only navigation and screen-reader spot checks. It was last reviewed on 4 August 2026.

We deliberately do not use an accessibility overlay or toolbar widget. These tools cannot make a website compliant on their own and often interfere with real assistive technology — accessibility is built into every page instead.
