Call us or fill in the online form. Tell us whether you want to be seen on the NHS, privately, or a mix of both — most patients are.
Your first visit
A full examination of your teeth and gums, plus a chat about your dental history and anything you are worried about. We take X-rays only if you need them.
Your written treatment plan
Before any treatment starts, you get a written plan setting out what we recommend, what it costs, and what happens if you decide against any part of it.
What to bring
- Photo ID, such as a driving licence or passport
- A list of any medicines you take, including ones you buy over the counter
- Evidence of exemption from NHS charges, if this applies to you
- Details of your previous dentist, if you have one, so we can request your records

Registering as an NHS patient instead? Your first check-up is charged at the standard NHS Band 1 rate.
Nervous about the dentist?
If you're nervous about the dentist, tell us — you won't be the only patient today who is. We would rather know than have you put off a visit.
Book the first appointment slot of the day, before the waiting room fills up and before the day's schedule can overrun
Agree a stop signal with your dentist before we start, so you are always in control of when we pause
Ask for a walk-through of the surgery and instruments on a separate visit first, with nothing done that day
For some patients, sedation makes treatment more manageable. We can talk you through the options — from a mild relaxant tablet taken beforehand to intravenous sedation — and refer you to a specialist sedation service if your treatment needs it.
